Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This policy explains what Paperman Natural Chemistry, LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates Spreadsheet Analyzer, collects when you use spreadsheetanalyzer.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@spreadsheetanalyzer.com.
What we collect
- The spreadsheet you upload. The Excel file you submit for analysis. We process it to produce your report and to answer your questions in chat.
- Your email address. When you join the waitlist or buy, so we can deliver your results and, if you opted in, product updates.
- Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles it and shares only a confirmation and the last four digits.
- Usage data. Standard analytics such as pages visited, device type, and approximate (city-level) location, used to understand traffic and performance.
How your uploaded file is handled
Your spreadsheet is used only to generate your analysis. Uploaded files are automatically deleted within one hour of processing. To produce plain-English explanations, the contents relevant to your analysis are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through its API. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. We do not sell your data and we do not train any models on it.
How we use your information
- To process your spreadsheet and deliver your report and chat.
- To take payment and provide customer support.
- To send the results you requested and, if you opted in, occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure traffic, fix problems, and improve the product.
Service providers we share data with
We rely on a small number of vendors to run the service. They process data only on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Anthropic — AI processing of spreadsheet content to generate explanations (no model training on your data).
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Railway — backend hosting where your file is processed.
- Google — advertising and conversion measurement (see “Cookies and advertising”).
Cookies and advertising
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for analytics and, where you arrive from an ad, to measure whether that ad led to a purchase. This includes Google’s advertising and conversion-tracking technologies. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can review and control Google’s use of data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and opt out of personalized ads at google.com/settings/ads. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
Data retention
- Uploaded spreadsheets: deleted within one hour of processing.
- Your generated report: retained so you can access it, until you ask us to delete it.
- Email address: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing email at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. To exercise any of them, email hello@spreadsheetanalyzer.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
